New Project | Blushing Bloom
Every project tells a story, and Blushing Bloom is no exception. This new build was designed for a young family with a clear vision—an organic, timeless home filled with natural materials and textures, all while sticking to a carefully managed budget. The result? A beautifully curated space that feels warm, inviting, and effortlessly bohemian.
To introduce the project, we asked designers Bree Lindhardt and Peyton Nease a few questions about the space:
How did you balance budget and beauty in this project?
Bree: "It was all about making thoughtful choices. We used cost-effective tile but played with how we laid it out to give it a custom feel. For cabinetry, we incorporated a mix of paint-grade wood to save money without sacrificing style. And when it came to lighting, we found affordable options that still made a statement. We also sourced hard finishes and materials from local vendors, which helped both in cost and in creating an authentic feel."
Peyton: “Wallpaper is another area where we got creative! Instead of covering full walls, we opted for half-wall applications, which still brought in texture and depth without stretching the budget.”
What was your favorite space in the home?
Bree: "Definitely the pantry! The reeded glass with the white oak cabinets gave it such a refined yet functional look. One of my favorite last-minute changes was adding a window—it brought in so much natural light and really softened the space. It’s proof that small tweaks can make a huge impact!"
Peyton: "The powder room was a dream! We brought in a lot of patterns with a checkered floor and Ann Sacks tile, and we were really intentional about the details. We used a custom mirror that reached the ceiling, a beautifully designed sink, and Ashley Norton hardware. A single, bold light fixture made everything feel balanced yet eye-catching."
How did the living room artwork influence the design—and the name Blushing Bloom?
Bree: "The client has a long-standing relationship with a particular artist, and from the beginning, we knew their work would be a focal point in the living room. The colors and textures in the piece helped shape the overall palette of the home."
Peyton: "That’s also where the name Blushing Bloom came from! The soft, organic hues in the artwork, combined with the natural textures we incorporated throughout the space, made it feel like the perfect fit."

The exterior is different from typical homes we design—what was the inspiration?
Bree: "This was something we had never done before, and it was so refreshing! While it’s Utah-based, it’s not in the heart of Park City, so we weren’t tied to the traditional mountain aesthetic and Park City building regulations. That gave us freedom to create an exterior that felt unique yet timeless."
Peyton: "We wanted to break away from the expected while still designing a home that felt cohesive with its surroundings. It was an exciting challenge, and we love how it turned out!"
Blushing Bloom is proof that thoughtful design, no matter the budget, can create something extraordinary. With a mix of curated elements, organic textures, and meaningful details, this home is a reflection of both its owners’ vision and our passion for creating spaces that feel like home.
